The Syria Recovery Trust Fund, in cooperation with the Syrian Interim Government, has started distributing 15,000 packets of bread, equivalent to 18 tons, daily to the most affected communities in northern Aleppo as an emergency response to the earthquake.
The fund is intensifying communication with its partners to provide as much support as possible to mitigate the earthquake’s effects. Hadi Al-Bahra, a member of the SOC’s Political Committee and Chairman of the Fund’s Board of Directors, stated the goal of securing all possible assistance for the affected people.
Hani Khabbaz added that the fund will not hesitate to work with partners to help people overcome this tragedy.
