A delegation of the Syrian Coalition headed by Ahmed Jarba concludes its visit to Saudi Arabia after meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz and Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal. Jarba sat down with Saudi Crown Prince Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz to discuss the recent developments in Syria and the killings carried out by the Assad regime against the Syrian people. The meetings also discussed ways to end the Syrian crisis in a way that ensures freedom for the Syrian people to end their suffering. Prince Salman reasserted his country’s commitment to helping the Syrian people. The Syrian Coalition said that Prince Salman discussed ways of supporting the rebels with Jarba due to the enormity of the disaster suffered by the Syrian people. Jarba points out that the presidential elections held by the Assad regime will eliminate all chances of reaching a political solution. The Syrian Coalition also said that the visit to Saudi Arabia aims to ensure support for the Syrian people and to strengthen the Coalition’s relations on the Arab and international levels.
