The Syrian members of the Joint Syrian-Turkish Joint Committee held its regular meeting to discuss the work of the Committee and the results of its efforts to help the Syrian nationals residing in Turkey. Participants in the meeting included President of the Syrian National Coalition, Anas Al-Abda.
The participants discussed the requests that were submitted to the Committee and laid out a plan to sort out the new cases so as to make it easier to work on them with the Turkish authorities in accordance with the priorities already agreed upon with the Turkish Directorate General of Migration Management.
Members of the Syrian team indicated that the Committee resolved many of the issues it received in accordance with recent instructions from the Turkish Directorate General of Migration Management and the Turkish Ministry of the Interior.
They pointed out that the Committee provided many facilitations and services to Syrian nationals, stressing that its primary goal is to legally cover the residency of Syrian nationals in Turkey. (Source: Syrian National Coalition’s Media Department)
