A Syrian Coalition delegation on Saturday met with head of the Global Syriac Aramaic Union Johnny Messo in Geneva. The delegation included the Coalition’s Vice-Presidents Samira al-Masalmah, Muwaffaq Nairabiyah and Abdul Hakim Bashar as well as member of the political committee of Abdul Ahad Steifo.
The meeting thoroughly discussed the most important political and humanitarian files in the Syrian revolution. Messo gave a briefing about the union, its policies and its outreach. Both sides agreed to meet again in the future to serve Syria’s interests and its people.
The two sides emphasized Syria’s territorial integrity and the unity of its people and the importance of laying the groundwork for building a democratic and pluralistic state. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
