The Syrian Coalition has opened an office in rural Lattakia in order to identify the needs of the people and provide them with the necessary services. Mohammed Khair al-Wazir, head of the Syrian Coalition’s offices inside Syrian cities, met with officials from the local councils in Lattakia province and discussed the humanitarian situation in the area and proposed ways to increase coordination between the local council and the Syrian Coalition’s Office. The meeting also discussed meeting the needs of schools and school children ahead of the winter. The Syrian Coalition had earlier opened an office in the town of Saraqib. Qaddah said that the office will be tasked with coordinating with the local people and identifying their needs. “The Syrian Coalition will very soon have presence in all Syrian cities to serve the Syrian people and provide them with what they need in their battle against the Assad regime,” Qaddah said. Hariri said that more offices would be set up across Syria, and stresses that the main objective of this step is to extend bridges between the political leadership and the active revolutionary forces all over Syria.” Hariri promised that the Syrian Coalition would very soon begin working hand by hand with the Syrian people to re-build Syria and convey and the voice of the Syrian revolution to the rest of the world.” Mohamed Khair al-Wazir, head of the Syrian Coalition’s offices in Syria, said that the task of the office’s staff will not be limited to the administrative work, but will take part in the decision-making. We hope this step will put the Syrian Revolution back on track as there is a pressing need for more organized efforts.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
