The Syrian Coalition highly praises the latest gains made by the Free Syrian Army in Dara’a province, especially in the towns of Nawa and Sheikh Misqin, renewing its confidence in the FSA’s ability to protect the Syrian territory and civilians from the brutality of the Assad regime and to go on with the struggle until the liberation of all Syrian territory and achieve the goals and aspirations of the Syrian people in freedom, dignity and democracy. Salem al-Meslet, spokesman for the Syrian Coalition, warns of the Assad regime’s plan to unleash its air force to bomb the liberated areas, just as what it did to the town of Al Harra as part of its strategy to wreak havoc and destruction on all the liberated areas. He stresses the need to supply the FSA with whatever is needed to defend the civilians, specifically the advanced weapons to ward off Assad’s air force and its barrel bombs. Mohammed Qaddah, vice president of the Syrian Coalition, said that the latest spectacular gains made by the Free Syrian Army in Dara’a province represent a turning point in the course the Syrian Revolution in this province. “Having been receiving only scarce support, the FSA have realized that only through dogged determination they can achieve victory and regain their freedom. These victories send a message to the world that has so far been silent that we will not wait for your help in our battle against the terrorist Assad regime. Even if we remain alone in the battlefield, we will continue to fight for freedom till the last drop of blood we have,” Qaddah said. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
