A delegation from the Syrian community in France has met with Brigitte Curmi, the French special envoy for Syria, as part of their efforts to provide relief to those affected by the recent earthquake in Turkey and Syria. The earthquake resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands and displaced millions.
The delegation included representative of the Syrian Opposition Coalition in France, Noureddine Al-Labbad, as well as Nahed Ghazzoul, Ali Al-Zarqan, and Zaid Al-Azem. They visited the French Foreign Ministry headquarters in Paris to discuss ways to increase support and deliver aid to the earthquake victims with the special envoy for Syria. Curmi reaffirmed her country’s support for the Syrian people and relief efforts during the meeting.
