The Commercial and Economic Attaché at the Syrian Embassy in the State of Qatar participated in the three-day Silkroad Exhibition at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) along with several countries, including Azerbaijan, Kuwait, and Tajikistan.
The Syrian pavilion included three companies working in the field of shipping, transport and logistics to ensure effective participation and engagement with participants from different countries and to provide an opportunity for Syrian companies wishing to keep abreast of the latest developments and international experiences.
Syrian Company ‘Cargo’ presented a unique model for an application that brings together shipping companies from around the world, which is expected to have a significant, positive impact in the field of shipping in the region.
Syrian Ambassador to Qatar, Nizar al-Heraki, and the Qatari Minister of Transport and Communications, Jassim bin Saif al-Sulaiti visited the Syrian pavilion as al-Heraki reviewed the services provided by the Syrian participants and the possibility of developing and benefiting from them.
The exhibition, which concluded on Tuesday, included several seminars and workshops, one of which dealt with the maritime logistics, while the second workshop dealt with the subject of supply chains.
