The Syrian Embassy in the State of Qatar has made many international contacts in order to secure the necessary support to aid the victims of the recent earthquake in northwestern Syria.
The embassy has sent a memorandum to the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs and addressed other organizations, including the Qatar Fund for Development, Qatar Charity, and Qatar Red Crescent, to provide them with information about the damage caused by the earthquake and the urgent humanitarian needs.
The Chargé d’Affaires, Bilal Turkiyeh, also sent letters to the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and Kuwait, calling for assistance.
