Syrian Interim Government’s Head, Abdurrahman Mustafa, presented the government’s work report to the General Assembly of the Syrian Opposition Coalition during its 66th regular session. Mustafa focused on the government’s response to the catastrophic earthquake that hit Syria and Türkiye on February 6, highlighting the quick actions taken by government teams to relieve those affected and assist rescue and civil defense teams.
In addition, Mustafa spoke about the inauguration of the Syrian Interim Government’s new headquarters in the town of Al-Rai, as well as new projects in the health, educational, service, and security sectors. He also explained the government’s important decisions in areas such as health, education, and security, which were made in accordance with the developments in the Syrian reality and the government’s prior plans.
Mustafa praised the achievements of the ministries and their efforts to follow up on the field situation and raise the combat readiness of the Syrian National Army fighters. He also highlighted the government’s immense efforts to control the security situation in liberated areas and achieve stability and security.
Furthermore, Mustafa reviewed the work of the General Grain Foundation and the General Directorate of Customs, and provided an update on the living conditions, rate of inflation, and available materials in liberated areas. He also discussed the role of the Ministry of Health in providing medical care to citizens in those areas.
