The Syrian Interim Government (SIG) submitted a detailed report on its work during the last two months to the Syrian Opposition’s General Assembly at its 58th regular session.
The report listed the major activities carried out by SIG’s ministries and institutions in the liberated areas, as well as the decisions that were made in the areas of health, education, security and living conditions. These activities proceed according to a plan that suits the developments in the Syrian reality.
The report also presented official work meetings, field tours to local councils, and revolutionary activities in the liberated areas.
Moreover, the report commended the role of institutions in ensuring the return of the people to their homes and lands in Afrin. The report also highlighted the work of the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Interior on improving the security situation, confronting terrorist operations targeting civilians and preventing stability in the liberated areas.
It stressed that the Ministry of Health was able to equip a number of hospitals, raise the quality of services in them, in addition to following up on the process of providing Covid-19 vaccines, and its role in advocacy, supervision and planning regarding the percentages covered by the population, the type of vaccine and the mechanism of work in general.
As for education, the report noted the immense efforts to improve the educational reality. It also highlighted the students’ conditions, curricula and recent preparations for the start of the new school year.
