Head of the Syrian Interim Government, Abdurrahman Mustafa, along with government ministers, delivered comprehensive updates on governmental activities and initiatives during the latest period to the General Assembly of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) at its 70th session in Aleppo countryside.
Mustafa underscored the ongoing efforts of the interim government and its ministries in delivering vital services to civilians across liberated areas, alongside vigorous measures to bolster security and promote stability.
He further elaborated on the outcomes of the investment conference held in northern Syria, facilitated by the interim government, which drew over 40,000 participants and played a pivotal role in nurturing the investment climate within liberated zones.
Minister of Local Administration and Services, Muhammad Suleiman, outlined various projects supported by the interim government fund and the Syria Recovery Trust Fund, spanning rural Aleppo and Ras al-Ayn in rural Hasakah, including initiatives like water well construction and school restoration equipped with solar energy panels.
Interior Minister Mohieddin Harmoush emphasized the crucial role of law enforcement in upholding security and stability amidst infiltration attempts by the PYD terrorist militia and the Assad regime, detailing plans for comprehensive training courses aimed at enhancing the capabilities of police forces.
Defense Minister Hussein Hamadeh addressed challenges faced by the ministry, particularly breaches by Assad’s forces and the PYD terrorist militia, highlighting milestones like the establishment of the Military College to cultivate specialized officers for the Syrian National Army.
Minister of Education, Jihad Hejazi, provided insights into the ministry’s activities, including the organization of crucial exams in liberated zones and overseeing Higher Education Council operations to support universities, catering to a student population exceeding 23,000.
Minister of Finance and Economy, Abdel Hakim Al-Masri, outlined significant achievements of the ministry, such as hosting a pioneering investment conference in Al-Rai town, Aleppo countryside, aimed at fostering an investment-friendly climate, promoting local products, and attracting investors to launch projects in liberated territories.
