The Syrian National Army (SNA) has issued a decision requiring the Army’s formations to attach number plates to their vehicles in order to organize internal work and control security.
The decision took effect in early September, with the SNA’s Third Corps acting as the first formation to implement it.
The decision aims to regulate the administrative work and control the vehicles at the disposal of the SNA’s formations as part of several steps the Ministry of Defense of the Syrian Interim Government is taking in this regard.
The move also aims to maintain security and stability as well as prevent terrorist militias from using vehicles to carry out terrorist bombings among civilians. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
