Under the auspices of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) Office of Syndicates and Unions, the Syrian National Olympic Committee and the Syrian Boxing Union opened a training and refereeing course at the SOC’s office in the town of Azaz in rural Aleppo.
The opening was attended by SOC’s member Najeeb Rahmoun, Secretary General of the Syrian National Olympic Committee Ahmad Al-Ali, member of the Committee and Head of the Syrian Boxing Union, Adnan Qaddour.
Al-Ali gave a lecture under the title ‘Sports Administration, Organization and Structure of Sports Work.’ Head of the Special Sports Union Ibrahim Shalash gave a lecture on sports medicine, sports injuries, sports food and the role of sports in fighting the coronavirus. He also gave another lecture under the title ‘Methods and Science of Training and Development of Boxing.’ (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
