Activists said that 18 civilians, mostly women and children, were killed and dozens injured in air raids on Douma in rural Damascus, while mortar shelling killed four people in the district of Al Qabbas and three more in Jaraman. Assad’s air force carried out more than 15 air raids on East Ghouta, while rebels blew up a building manned by regime forces on the outskirts of Jobar in Damascus. A civilian was killed and many others wounded in air raids on the district of Al Hajt al-Aswad in southern Damascus, while a woman was killed by the regime’s snipers in Al Zabadani.
