Regime forces carried out barrel bomb attacks on the rebel-held districts of Aleppo, killing 16 civilians and wounding dozens more, while a number of civilians were injured in similar attacks in Hayyan and Hasba in rural Aleppo. Rebels clashed with regime forces near Aleppo Central Prison, while dozens of pro-regime militants were killed in the explosion of a helicopter in the Defense Factories in Al Safira southeast of Aleppo.
