Clashes broke out between regime forces and rebels in the neighborhood of Al Midan in central Damascus when rebels launched a surprising attack on Marina checkpoint, with reports of regime losses. Violent clashes also broke out between the two sides in southern Damascus and down to the entrance of the Yarmouk refugee camp, and also in the town of Assal al-Ward. Regime forces targeted the town of Hatit al-Jarash with bombs containing toxic gases, causing suffocation cases. Regime forces continue aerial and artillery shelling on eastern Damascus and East Ghouta, causing civilian casualties and material damage. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Smart News)
