The Free Syrian Army clashed with regime forces on the outskirts of Jobar in Damascus, alongside shelling by regime forces with heavy artillery. Mortar shells landed in Barameka and Faculty of Civil Engineering at the Umayyad Square, while violent clashes broke out between the Free Syrian Army and regime forces in northern Daryya. Assad’s warplanes carried out air raids on Qalamoun, Zabadani and Rankous. Regime forces carried out mortar shelling on Erbin in Rural Damascus, causing civilian casualties and material damage.
