Rebels clashed with Assad’s forces on the outskirts of Dariya in rural Damascus, with reports of the death of two pro-regime militants. Violent clashes also broke out between rebels and Assad’s forces in the town of Maliha, alongside intended shelling by regime forces on the town. Jobar and Zamalka came under aerial shelling, while regime forces carried out artillery shelling on Zakia-Khan Al Sheeh road and on Al Hajar al-Aswad, while two mortar shells struck Shaalan and Al Jisr al-Abiyad district in Damascus.
