Rebels advanced on regime positions south of the village of Jalama after violent clashes with Assad’s forces, and also destroyed a tank, a BMP vehicle and a heavy gun in the town of Morek north of Hama. Six pro-regime militants were killed by the explosion of an improvised explosive device in Sha’er in rural Hama, while regime forces targeted Kafr Zeta with poison gas, killing two people and injuring dozens of civilians who suffered from suffocation. The towns of Lataminah, Al touba, Jabriyah and Tal Hawash came under barrel bomb attacks. (Source: Syrian Coalition + LCC)

Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians.
