The football tournament organized in Aleppo by the General Commission for Youth and Sports concluded on Yesterday. The tournament lasted for 35 days, and was named after the fallen hero Hussam Mousa. The tournament included 12 teams, and was won by Al Ansari al-Sharqi team, while the Civil Defense team was ranked second, and Abrar Aleppo team third. Ahmad Zakaria, member of the General Commission for Youth and Sports said that the tournament was meant to be an act of defiance to the Assad regime, and to send a message to the world that the Syrians’ love of life and sport will not be disturbed by regime forces that made Aleppo the most dangerous city in the world.
