Violent clashes broke out between regime forces and rebels in East Ghouta near Damascus, alongside artillery shelling on Mleiha and Kiswah. Mortar shells struck the neighborhood of Bab Touma, while regime forces stationed on Mount Qassioun fired a barrage of mortar shells on Jobar, Yalda and Saqba near Damascus, with reports of civilian casualties.
