Three pro-regime militants were killed during clashes with rebels in the neighborhood of Karam al-Tarrab in Aleppo, while regime forces shelled Al Haidariya and Al Sakhour with heavy artillery. A number of rebel factions in Aleppo and its countryside announced they had unified within what they called the “Conglomerate of the North’s Rebels” with the aim of overthrowing the Assad regime and to achieve freedom, justice and dignity for the Syrian people. They also said in the statement “that based on our belief in the goals of the revolution and to correct its course which was derailed by the differing goals and conflicting regional and international agendas, we announce our unification under the umbrella of the FSA to form a bulwark against destructive and exotic ideas. We are ready to cooperate and coordinate with all other rebel factions that seek to achieve the goals of the revolution. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Smart News)
