The Free Syrian Army fighters shot down two regime’s warplanes near the village of Bakha’a in Qalamoun and in the town of Maliha. Seven pro-Assad soldiers were killed while trying to infiltrate into the town. The Free Syrian Army attacked Al Nour checkpoint in Maliha with mortar shells and also captured a regime checkpoint in of Khan Dannoun west of Damascus after clashes with Popular Front militias led by Ahmed Jibril. Regime forces targeted the suburb of Harasta near with toxic gas, causing dozens of suffocation cases among civilians. Regime forces also carried out barrel bomb attacks on Zabadani and Khan Al Sheeh, while the towns of Assal al-Ward and Daryya came under artillery shelling alongside clashes north of Daryya.
