Rebels captured the fuel station in the town of Khan Toman south of Aleppo, destroying two tanks belonging to regime forces. Clashes broke out on the perimeter of Aleppo Citadel and in Bustan al-Basha, while a mortar shell struck the district of Qalaji, injuring a number of civilians. Barrel bombs struck the districts of Mwasalt, Qadi Asqar, Karm Homid, Bab al-Hadid and Masaqin Hanano, while Al Zahra and Al Halwaniya came under shelling by heavy machine guns. Three civilians were killed in an artillery shelling on the town of Tel Qrah, while two more were killed in barrel bomb attacks on Sheikh Najjar.
