Rebels captured the “Zlin” checkpoint north-east of the town of Halfaya in rural Hama after violent clashes with regime forces, and also destroyed two tanks in northern rural Hama using TOW anti-tank missiles. Assad’s air force continue to drop more explosive barrels on rural Hama, especially on the town of Kafr Zeita. Regime forces also carried out barrel bomb attacks on the town of Rastan north of Homs, while mortar shells struck the district of Al Waer near Homs. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Sham News)
