Rebels Blow up a Major Regime Bastion in Aleppo

Rebels blew up three tunnels and Al Ahzab building which was turned into a bastion for regime forces near Saba’ Bahrat roundabout to the forces of the Assad regime. Rebels also attacked the Air Force Intelligence building in Al-Zahra neighborhood in Aleppo with heavy artillery, alongside violent clashes. Assad’s air force carried out barrel bomb attacks on Baideen district killing eight civilians and wounding dozens, while four civilians were killed in Bab Qinnisrin due to regime’s aerial shelling. Activists said that three inmates died in Aleppo’s central prison due to lack of medicines and medical care. Regime forces carried out barrel bomb attacks on the town of Kafr Hamra in rural Aleppo, killing 10 civilians and wounding dozens. The towns of Mare’, Haritan, Alguz, Bakarat, Azaz and Maarath Al Artik came under aerial bombardment, killing six civilians and wounding dozens. (Source: Syrian Coalition + LCC)
