Activists said that rebels shot down two jet fighters in Qalamoun northwest of Damascus, while the town of Zebdin came under mortar shelling. A number of mortar shells landed in Muhafaza Square, Dahdah cemetery and the Amara neighborhood in central Damascus, injuring five civilians and causing material damage.
