Activists said that 17 students were killed and 86 people were injured as a result of mortar shelling on Badr Addin al-Hasani Sharia Institute in the district of Shaghour in Damascus. A number of mortar shells landed in the Abbsyyen Square in Damascus, causing civilian casualties and material damage. Activists said that the source of shelling is the regime’s checkpoints stationed on the perimeter of Damascus. (Source: Syrian Coalition + LCC)
