Commander of Iraqi Badr Militia Killed in Aleppo

Opposition fighters captured the municipal building near Ramouseh in Aleppo and cut off the regime’s only supply route to inside Aleppo. Rebels also destroyed a tank in Al Rashideen district. Rebels also said they had killed, Ghazi al-Tamimi, commander of the Iraqi Badr militia during the clashes in Al Zahra district of Aleppo. Rebels also clashed with regime forces in Amiriya and Sheikh Najjar, alongside aerial bombardment by regime forces. Regime forces carried out barrel bomb attacks on Masaqen Hanano, Alleramoun, Al Atareb and Maarath Al Artik, while the residents of Sheikh Fares, Al Sha’ar and Al Mashad held anti-regime demonstrations in a Friday that activists dubbed “Save Aleppo.” (Source: Syrian Coalition + LCC)
