The Interim Ministry of Health said that it is “cooperating with prosthetics centers, including the Syrian National Centre for Artificial Limbs in Reyhanli, Turkey, and the Amal Center in Killis . Dr. Muammar Hassoun, director of the file of the wounded, said that the Ministry and Amal Center signed a memorandum of understanding to treat the injured in the center, noting to the lack of budget dedicated to the establishment of a special center belonging to the Ministry. The Syrian National Center for Artificial Limbs was established in February 2013 and has provided services to hundreds of Syrians who have lost their limbs in the ongoing war.
