Rebel fighters said they had captured the border crossing in Quneitra, thus controlling all length of the border between the occupied Golan and Quneitra. Rebels also captured Qroum Hill and the town of Rwadi after violent clashes with regime forces, while violent clashes broke out in the town of Jubba near the border with the occupied Golan Heights. Fire broke out near the border as a result of artillery shelling by regime forces. It is worth noting that rebel factions announced the launch of an offensive to capture regime positions in Quneitra’s southern sector. (Source: Syrian Coalition + Agencies)
