Rebels repelled Assad’s forces attempts to recapture the 559th Tank Battalion in eastern Qalamoun, while regime forces conducted aerial and artillery shelling on Maliha near Damascus. Jobar neighborhood in Damascus came under aerial shelling, while mortar shells struck the neighborhoods of Abbassyen and Qassa’a, killing a child and wounding a number of civilians.
