Jamoul Maarouf, commander of Syria Revolutionaries Front, survived an assassination attempt by the Assad regime’s air force that targeted his headquarters in rural Idlib. Maarouf’s wife was killed in the air strike along with two children and a number of rebel fighters. Air raids also hit the town of Saraqib, wounding 15 civilians, while six civilians were killed in barrel bomb attacks on the district of Tariq al-Bab in Aleppo. A man and his three children were killed in artillery bombardment by regime forces on the town of Anadan in rural Aleppo, while nine civilians, including five women, were killed in aerial bombardment on the town of Babto. Six pro-regime militants were killed during clashes with rebels in Al Amiriya in Aleppo. Rebels also destroyed a tank and an armored vehicle belonging to regime forces during the clashes.
