Activists said that ISIS militants killed seven people, including two children and a woman, and wounded many others near the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani). Thousands of civilians continue to flock towards the Turkish border to escape ISIS’s onslaught on the town and its surroundings, with reports that ISIS militants are within 20 km to the south, and 13 km to the west, and 10 km to the east. Meanwhile, Assad’s air force carried out an air raid on the town of Tal al-Karama in rural Aleppo, alongside artillery bombardment on the town of Hayan. A media activist was wounded by a regime sniper in the neighborhood of Al Zahra’ in Aleppo, while rebels targeted regime positions in the neighborhood of Karam al-Tarrab with mortar shells.
